      Minecraft and lucid dreaming

I have foudn that waking up and playing minecraft on creative mode after you wake up, then going back to sleep might trigger a lucid dream.

Minecraft is a game where you can guild anything you want in a 16 bit environment. If you want to know more research it on the internet. In creative mode there is almost no end to what you can do and you can fly.

MInecraft flexes my lucid dreaming muscles and seems to help me out, so I wonder if it can help anyone else out.

I have had a lot of dreams about Minecraft. I think it sticks in your mind because you have to figure out new and better ways of doing things on it. But they are real cool dreams.
It sounds interesting doing it in a Wbtb. Maybe you could even do that and then visualize and imagine being in Minecraft untill it turns to s dream. Like v-wild.
Do you do it as a wild or dild?

I used to play that before I got into lucid dreaming and I remember having quite a few dreams about being a block man punching trees Minecraft seems like a good game for that because it works with your creativity because you have so much to work with and many things you can do. Also when you are in a dream where everything is blocky it could potentially lead to lucidity more-so than other more realistic looking games. Also it can be quite a time consuming game so if you happen to play for a few hours in a day it could definitely seep into your dreams.

I posted a thread about video games and dreams, based on an article I read that linked video games to enhancing lucid dreaming skills, you can see the thread here:

I couldn't post the link in my thread at the time because I was new so here's a link to the actual article:

Yep the difference between lucid dreaming and minecraft... Minecraft perminatly ruins your life.

I loved that game and the next thing I knew I had rsi and could never use a computer again (8 months ago). Voice recognition was my only way of using the computer after that but never again could I play minecraft... It's sad too because I never got to play it with all the new features it had today... I was stuck with the early alphas all the way to beta 1.5.

Then I moved onto lucid dreaming... You see minecraft is instant entertainment while lucid dreaming is short and hard to get. That's the reason I picked minecraft over lucid dreaming. Infact I actually wanted to play minecraft in real 3d within a lucid dream at first... Being lucid within minecraft would be pretty cool...

Try this out next time you lucid dream... First while awake build a house in minecraft. Then go to sleep and go into a lucid dream(not so easy I know lol). Then walk to a door and know that on the other side is the inside of your minecraft house and the door you pushed (possible your bedroom door) is actually a minecraft door.

      Good luck everyone

I will try that after my current lucid dream task, which is to walk around my neighborhood, resist the urge to fly and see what adventures I stumble into.
