Just had an awesome LD after using free sublime program

I've just woken up as I am writing this. I have been using the free Sublime imaging program for a few days now that someone posted a while back (I think its the program that someone on Dream Views made) and I just had a very intense LD that seemed like it lasted for hours. (By the way, the sublime program is a visual subliminal program that flashes on my computer that i had to say "I will have lucid dreams tonight") Anyway, I became Lucid when I noticed that when I was looking in a mirror, my teeth had holes in them and were in very bad shape. (guess this one was a DILD). I thought that this couldnt be so I did reality checks. The Finger through the Palm did not work so I did another reality check which I cant remember what it was and then I became lucid. I opened the door to where I was at, and immediately started flying to find dream characters.(yep, I had an objective prior to going to sleep). One of the first DC's I ran into was a working collegue but he was talking to other people so i didn't bother him. I talked to this one woman who was sitting in a hall and I asked her the question "how do I attain lucidity more often". She told me to drink more water and lots of it. And to drink it throughout the night. (I wonder if this would work because I did drink some water on a previous wake up before this dream) After that, I went outside and asked the same question out loud and no sooner than I asked it the second time, a man and a woman walked up to me from a side road. The man was dressed in a very expensive looking suit and I think the woman was dressed up too. He even called me by my name as he walked up and introduced himself but I don't remember his name. But no sooner than they had walked up to me, they wanted me to follow them and the man said "Please come with us" as he kind of got me by the arm. He reminded me of a businessman the way he presented himself and dressed. So I followed them a very short distance to a very nice home and they started knocking on the door. There was someone here we were going to see about this question. For some reason I felt uneasy and started asking them, "Am I going to have to sign anything". And yes, I was still lucid. They wouldn't answer me so I asked again. They still wouldn't answer me, so I flew off. I then ran into my grandmother in the dream. I asked her about being able to maintain lucidity and she told me that some can do it by sleeping with some kind of rags and also something about with dolls. I don't remember what kind of rags that they were. I remember asking another DC about the man in the suit and this DC said "Don't worry, he's not a devil or anything, he can't hurt you". Anyway, the dream went on and on like it lasted for hours. I still wonder who the man in the suit was though. I felt he was going to give me the information that I asked for, but something spooked me about this DC. I felt that I would have gotten the information, but there would have been a price to pay. And it was one that I am certainly not willing to pay. If anyone has any input on who the guy in the suit might have been, please let me know. I'm sorry for such a long post and I apologize if it's not in the right forum area, but I feel that using that sublime program that someone on this site developed was a part in me having this lucid dream. A big thanks to the Dream Views forum member that made this program. Thanks again for the free program. When I become lucid again, my goals are the same. To ask dream characters that I meet how to attain lucidity whenever I want and how to maintain it as well.

      Nice - congrats
I wrote that sublime program, btw - at least if you're referring to the one made by a DV member (there's another one floating around by a similar name )

Anyway, I'm glad it worked for you, but it could also have been coincidence
I never upgraded it and removed all the little annoying glitches because I lost confidence in whether it worked or not
      Someone correct me please... please

Holy crap. Paragraphs. I'm intrested to know what program it was too. If it was Placebo's, it would be nice to know that it's actually been usefulf or somebody.

I don't know if the, uh, Placebo (funny ha ha) effect might of had something to do with that though.

It was Placebos program. Thanks again for this great little piece of software. I have been thinking about the LD all morning and these are a few things that I concluded.

      1. I remember when the Finger Through Palm didn't work, I ended up looking at my hands and one finger was much shorter than the rest and that made me lucid. Also, my hands looked a little wierd.

      2. When I asked the lady in the hall how to attain lucidity more often in Dreams, she told me to drink more water before going to bed and basically to drink water throughout the night. Well, if you drink water before going to bed, you will wake up needing to empty your bladder. And if you drink more before going back to bed, you will have to get up again and do the same. I find that I can remember dreams much more when I wake up in the night and go back to sleep. And I seem to slip into dreams much quicker when I do this.

      3. I still don't know who the guy in the suit was though. Like I said, I had a strange feeling about him.

Anyway, thanks again Placebo for the great little subliminal visual program. I will keep using it and see what happens next.

Anyways where did you get the program from? I would love to try it.

It was a prgram developed by Placebo. I found a link to it on an earlier post when I was searching for subliminals on this forum to see if anyone used subliminals to assist with Lucid Dreaming. It's called Sublime. Hope this helps.

The trouble is we still aren't sure if this is what caused your LD.

Are you doing anything other than the subliminals to try get an LD?
How often do you normally have LDs?
Did you believe it would work before you used it? or not? or undecided?

Thanks, just trying to figure out if my program is of any use, or just a placebo

Uh good question. I don't even know where it is, and I MADE it
      /me goes searching...

      [EDIT]
Okay here we go. The thread where I started it : Subliminal Messages

The place to download from is : Sublime Imaging 0.1e

The disclaimer is on page 3 or so of the first link

And if you have problems, please skim through the thread first. I know it has a few issues
I haven't fixed them because I'm not convinced it's worth the effort, since I don't know if this thing really helps or not

BTW, I started using self hypnosis and this program shortly before having 2 weeks with an average of one LD a day. The problem is I don't know if it was the self hypnosis, something else in my life, or simply a placebo effect.

Hey placebo, what kind of self hypnosis method were you using? I've been using your sublime program for 2 days now and I can't say I've reported any effects, but I will update you if anything happens.

Thanks, I'd appreciate feedback. In theory though, it can take a couple of days before the effect is noticed (also depending on what makes it work)

The self hypnosis I did was essentially a very deep meditation - similar to some techniques people use for WILD. I have a script I use to do it.
I've changed it since then, and not necessarily for the better. But it will still work. It might be a little harder to do, is all.

Anyway, here's my newer version: My not so concise 'Concise' method
If you try it, please give me feedback and suggestions
