I'm having a similar problem. This morning, for instance, once I got super relaxed, I could get to vibrations in a matter of seconds, but no matter how intense they were, they always stopped. And I'm calm and relaxed. Maybe I'm worried about failure, which paradoxically makes me fail hehe.

I'm also curious about what I'm supposed to do with my breathing. I find I start breathing a bit harder than usual once I get vibratin'... but I try to slow it down and take deep breaths, like when relaxing, but then, I think I end up focusing on it too much, and focusing on something real in the waking body might push me away from the dream state (?)... So yeah, someone tell me how to breathe already lol.

As for other stuff, I think I'll focus on my other senses as well... I always try to visualize something... maybe if I also imagined wind blowing in my face or something like that.... It felt so natural the one time I got it right that I don't know how I did it haha.

I guess it just takes practice and experimentation i think if you TRY to get passed the vibrations than your not relaxed its hard! anyone ever had this problem and got passed it?

I've had the same problem.. i remember it took me a good 45 mins to an hour to get there tho, then when the vibrations came i didn't know what to do - i wasn't scared i was just like 'woooooooaaaaaaahhhhh duuuuuuuuude!!! 8) ' then i thought that i just needed to open my eyes to get into dreamland but when i did that, i could see the room i was in.. but it REALLY hurt my eyes... then the vibrations went and i woke up..

can't get past that point though.

Yeah, they come back if you're calm. I'm sure with some practice, even that won't be necessary and it'll work the first time... that'll be wicked sweet

I got a lot closer this morning (reached the loud audio stage, but then I got excited to be so close and lost it... ack!)

When the vibrations went away, I found they started again when I visualized the last image I had in my mind before the first set. So this morning, I had a hemidemisemipseudodream about a TV with little coloured dots on it. So I pictured that, and vibrations restarted. They also restarted when I said "ready? go!" in my head. It wasn't my voice, it was... some random voice i used, dunno where it came from... but interestingly, that's the voice I heard during the loud sounds. Freaky, but hopefully practical.

as soon as the vibrations start they alert me too much and then they stop as fast as they started! dangit all! the farthest ive ever been in a wild was with a branwave mp3 on. i mean theres got to be a way to complete a wild without it right? noone seems to know?..

      Loud audio stage?
I had something freaky happened to me two nights ago with WILD. I heard a real loud Buzz and intense vibration or what felt like an electrical pulse through my head and ears. Really scared the jeebies out of me. Happened twice.

Is that what you mean by loud audio stage?

But I am in the same boat as all of you. Get up to the vibrations and then don't know what to do next but ride it out. But as soon as they come, they soon go leaving me awake!

I guess if we are all getting the same 'symptoms', we must be doing something right and getting close

Yes, that's what I meant. I find that when I first get vibrations, I only 'feel' them, and nothing else, and the hard part is to go deeper in. Only when I'm VERY close do I start hearing things, which I've decided to call "the audio stage"
