today in psychology i learned about this thing called rem rebound. basically, if you do not get enough rem sleep in one night, they greatly increase the time spent in rem the next time they get the opportunity to sleep interrupted. has anybody tried this? i don't know how it would work, if you would just stay up all night or maybe you could time it so you wake yourself up every hour or two so you never reach rem sleep. then the next night, you would supposedly get more dream time. i don't know if it works, tell me what you think about it. |
