I do most of my attempts in my living room chair after I send the kids to school. WBTB + WILD
Being in the living room I have different lighting, different sounds, a reclined position so I don't snore myself awake and different cushioning. This whole package really helps my effort.
Try altering different physical things and see if it helps.
Anchor tutorials/suggestions/guides seem to be somewhat sparse, which is a shame as it seems to be something a lot of people struggle with...
But changing the physical side seems like a great idea :)
Thank you both! :thanks:
I do my attempts in positions that is hard to fall asleep in. Like a handstand for example :movingmrgreen: Ok no, not really but in a sitting position. ;)
Let's see if I can help.
Here's a search I did for "anchor" on the forum. It was fairly successful. Click here --> : http://www.dreamviews.com/search.php?searchid=1931129
And a bunch of tutorials on WILD written by long-standing forum members:

And a couple posts in tutorials that mention "anchor" from good WILD guides. After reading the post you might want to visit the first post in each thread for info on the guide:

Thanks all of you! this is all so helpful!
if you don't get pre-sleep before your WILD you will fail
I always get pre-sleep maybe 4 or 5 hours
That sounds like a luxury issue to me:). Usually it's the other way around, people are too aware. In general this is bad advice, but in your case it might be the fix; Drink a cup of coffee or anything stimulative... wait for it to kick in (30 minutes) and then WILD. I'd say it's worth a shot.
The general advice would be something like; you'll need to find the anchor that almost keeps you awake. Also, don't worry if you struggle with this, as it's actually the hard part about WILDing:).
Good Luck, Tucane
