Someone help me please

Ok i havn't had dreams in years and now that im off drugs i started dreaming well ive had dreams every night about the love of my life and god do i love her ... but she is there in everyone of them. I want to be able to conversate with her about stuff though i want to be able to talk to her about what i watn to talk about see she says she has dreamed about me for the psat week or two also ... i need help .. and after i started readin a lil of this site im completly swept away by all of it i want to be able to do everything that is possible. please someone help me out

There is a book by Stephen Laberge About the world of lucid dreaming. Its like 200 pages and covers alot. You should be able to find it at a book store near you. There is alot of stuff I have found helpful on this site but even the first chapter gets into stuff that most people don't mention on the forums, or is not mentioned in the introduction. I read the first few chapters so far and it has alot of useful info. Im sure there are not too many that come here that don't reccomend reading it.

The book is called 'Exploring the world of lucid dreaming' I think it offers a more concise introduction to lucid dreaming, methods for lucid dreaming, and for controlling your dreams than this site does. It's easy to get confused by the huge amount of things on here.

At this point, the best thing you can do is keep a dream journal, or if you really don't want to write down your dreams, each time you wake up in the morning, spend 5 minutes laying in bed with your eyes closed and try to remember as many snippets from your dreams that night as you can, and remember every detail that you can. Do this every single morning. Also, when you go to bed each night, spend a few minutes concentrating on dreaming only. Think about what you want to dream about, about dreams you have had, anything to do with dreaming. Trust me, the more you make conscious connections with dreaming, the more they will seep through into the subconscious. You may not have lucid dreams immediately, but you should have better recall, and hopefully more vivid dreams. After a couple of weeks you should notice an increase in your dream recall. You may even begin having LDs, but don't be upset if you don't, they don't always come easily. When you notice you are remembering more dreams, you are well on your way. You mentioned that you didn't use to dream. Well you did, you just didn't remember them. When you go into the REM phase during the night, you start dreaming, but you don't always remember those dreams. Have you ever done a drug and had a blackout where you completely forget a period of time while you were on it? The same thing can happen during the night, especially for users of non-psychedelic drugs (cocaine, meth, heroin, painkillers, weed). Hope these tips help. Just stick to em, it's worth it.

Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming is a Must Have for any dreamer. Buy that book...but you should already know that by now.....So I'll shut up.

Buildings with books, CDs and sometimes movies that you can borrow for FREE! Actually, thanks for reminding me, I need to check that book out myself. Can't believe I haven't done so yet !
