alright guy and girls. I really need your help. I use to be really motivated and right into lucid dreaming.I still think its an amazing concept and its truly one of the greatest things ever. but for the past few months i have had no motivation. I dont know why I just havent put much thought into trying to LD.. what should I do to get myself really pumped, and back into the swing of things. Im practically back to a beginner now.

When you truly want it, you will find motivation. Lucid Dreaming is not the only thing to be motivated for, so find something else to motivate you for now. Can't force motivation, and if this is not where yours is right now, you will be better off finding something else that you are currently willing to commit to. If you truly appreciate the concept of lucidity, you will come back to it, when you are ready.

As JoannaB said, your motivation has to come from within yourself. If you can't find the motivation to practice lucid dreaming alone then you probably won't find it by asking how to make yourself more motivated. You just have to be motivated! I know how hard it is to keep spirits up when you don't feel like you're making a lot of progress, but you need to remember that every night that you recall a dream, every day that you keep the idea of lucid dreaming in your head, every day you spend with numerous reality checks, these are all progress. You just can't see it happening as you don't see the results instantly.

If I were you, I'd take a break and then come back to it when you remember about it again. I've done this a few times and plan on staying this time, as this has been my most successful attempt (as in, I've actually started to achieve lucidity). At some point or another you will come back to it for the final time and stay motivated through the progress you will see.

      Good luck!

Think about your goals through the day, daydream about them or visualize them, read your goal list, read some entries from your DJ, think about something dreaming related. You can also read through some DJs here on dreamviews, it's one of the main things that were inspiring me when i was beginning.
Also here are a few threads that can be helpful as well:

If you want, you could also check out classes of Dreamviews Academy: http://www.dreamviews.com/dv-academy/ , they are very helpful, and/or you could also join dreaming competition http://www.dreamviews.com/general-lu...read-12-a.html and Ultimate summer challenge http://www.dreamviews.com/lucid-chal...challenge.html
