first LD since joining

Had my first LD since joining . I hadn't one for months since I stopped my journal . I started recording again but was getting the feeling that I would never have another LD .Anyway I stuck with my RC's and reminders and it was worth it . Only 17 days since I started trying again so even for someone who isnt a 'natural' it can be done . Some interesting points . 'Dream-life' definitely goes through phases . Things had been dullish in dreamland but for a few nights prior to my LD I had a build up of amazing dreams full of premonitions and portents so I knew something was coming . Also there is definitely a link between dreams and the state of the digestion . I looked back to my old dream journal and saw that the period of most frequent LDs was when I was taking a particular stomach medicine (just a mild laxative) and hadn't used this for a while . So I bought some and took it before going to bed and I woke up with a very active gut , amazing dreams and full lucidity .(just a coincidence?). Strangely my lucidity wasnt prompted by any of the dream signs I had drilled into my memory (faulty light switches etc) , it just happened when I noticed I was walking naked down the street and didnt care who saw me , which is definitely out of character for me . As soon as I knew I was dreaming I remembered to practice some of the techniques others had written about here so I really appreciate this site and all the ideas and experiences people share .

I've read that quite a few other people get the naked dreamsign. ^^ Quite strange really... Anyway, congratulations!

Thanks Xei ,Yes ,I have often had dreams of being naked and feeling ashamed but never before questioned the reality of it in the dream . What I hope is that my dream-self is beginning to question things more and more ,now that during the day I keep asking myself 'Is anything strange happening ?' 'Would I normally be doing this?' etc. As well as looking for specific dream signs I want to carry that sceptical attitude into my dreams .
