      kicked out by the dream

When I do a WILD I'm relatively good at getting to the point where my body receives those weird vibrations and the hypnogogic visuals become very clear. Then I usually find myself getting sucked down a tunnel. However, at this point I simply get chucked out of the dream state right back to complete wakefulness. So I never get to the LD.

Can anyone advise how I can stay in the tunnel/proceed to the LD?

      Thanks,

      Jogo

I think because you're getting too excited, try to stay as calm as possible

This happened to me with the same "getting sucked down a tunnel" feeling a couple times. Definitely because you are getting too excited.

      Hi,

Familiarization might do the job for you.
If your good at entering transition at WILDs you can just try doing WILDs till transitions becomes no longer exciting to you because your quite used to them.
That would be probably most passive way to do it

You can aswell try visualize yourself being calm at WILD Transition.
You can also create a simple mantra like: I will remain calm when i'il enter a Tunnel. And repeat this mantra mindful of it's meaning before attempting a WILD

And if you want some expert stuff on this you can read sivason's material: http://www.dreamviews.com/dream-yoga...ity-shock.html

There are many ways to overcome excitement,
You just need to find one that works nicely for you,
      Goodluck .

Thanks. I'll try the cold showers he recommends.
