If you get a full night's sleep before trying your WBTB, it's natural that you might find it difficult to fall back asleep again! If you find it difficult to get up in the middle of the night for WBTB, then perhaps a different technique would be better to focus on for now. DEILD might be a good choice, it's a great "lazy" technique because you can work on it whenever you're waking up, without having to get up beforehand. |

You answered your own question. Get up earlier... If you are too lazy to make a bit of effort then you are ruling out many techniques. I would stick with reality checks and studying dream signs. You might try MILD when going to bed but I find it works way better when waking up in the middle of the night. If you don't want to set an alarm, just drink a large glass of water before bed and then use a technique when you wake up to go to the bathroom. You don't have to do a full WBTB. You can set an alarm or drink the water like I said... soon as you wake up do a MILD or WILD technique. MILD is very easy and has worked for me thousands of times. Go to the bathroom when waking up if you must or you may choose to lie perfectly still and ignore the urge.. this makes it a bit easier sometimes I think because your body stays totally relaxed. |

I get Lucid after a long sleep a lot when I don't have to get up early and remember how hard it can be to fall back to sleep. |

If you only have the skills to do so you can experience anything you can imagine as real.
