      i.. wonder... hmmmm

ok if youve ever seen "what the bleep do we know" you will probly know about thoughts and beleifs and how they change your life I.E. your a casual worker at .. lets say.. wal-mart and you dont want to work on thursday but you say.. "aww they are gunna roster me on for thursday i just know it! DAMN!" chances are it will because of you saying that.. (happned to my sister except replace wal-mart wth bi-lo) and how its sientificly proven about alternate realityies and universes and how we can control our live entirley on our thoughts (i beleive this fact cause ive tried it out on a few things and when i truley beivleved..YIPPE KIAY MUTHA FU**A it worked).. ANYWHO!! to the point. people who understand what i just said i came up with an idea... its called PRLD positive reinforcment lucid dreamig. all you do is beleive and "postivley reinforce" your mind towards lucid dreaming I.E. you say (and you must beleive in what you say) "i WILL lucid dream tonight i WILL spot my dream sign i WILL do a reality check" if you beleived.. you have yourself an LD. im still a newbie so the theory might not work no.. postive reinforcemnt.. my theory WILL work lol i havent tried it out and im not experienced with lucid dreaming so if anyone can care to try it out and give feedback (positive and negatie) i will be very grateful!!!!!!!!!!!!

sorry for long post!! i hope you understand at least ONE word i said ^^

LDing is hugely based on the belief that you can and will.

"Whether you think you can or think you can't - you're right." -Henry Ford

that quote has huge merit in LDing (among other aspects of life)

Those thoughts certainly do help attain lucidity, though in my experience they are often more effective at working when you waked uring the REM period, especially if your body has had reasonable amount of rest in the period before. Too much rest and I find I'm too wide awake to practise it properly, not enough rest and it is easy to fall back to sleep before realising it.

I did find though, that when I tried the hardest and usually unsuccessfully (always at weekends so I don't have to get up for work and be disturbed), I sometimes found it left me feeling very groggy and weary for the whole day. By not trying too hard, results tend to be more successful. In any ways, it's good fun and I think of it as an added bonus if it works, and if it doesn't nothing is lost
