No. Instead I try to be very aware of my surroundings all day. I don't think its the same as RC's, but It's kind of hard for me to do. Especially during school. I think RC's are kind of annoying for some reason. This is why I want to master WILD

Once an hour when my watch beeps. I've always thought it would be annoying to have it beep all the time but now it has a use its not so bad.
When I've checked my watch twice I think about what I've done today and how I got here, and think if there was anything unusual.

A very wise man (Lucius) told be the other day that one should not rely on just one method, but to perform all methods in order to increase your chances at lucid dreams.

That includes reality checks, being aware, MILD, WILD, and anything else that works.

I don't do it myself. Usually I know I'm dreaming just because something in my mind just...well, clicks.

I've never obtained lucidity through reality checks, even though they may be the second easiest way of doing it(the first being DREAMSIGNES)

i just notice something is strange, and realize that the behaviour isn't quite normal, and realize that i am dreaming. i never check anything...i just can't wait until the day i run through the steet and jump to fly, thinking its a dream and fall on my face.

I never use them. but that's me. there is no "best" technique and none are better than others. it all depends on what works best for you.

I'm with ya man... and after that, if there hasn't already been a way found, I'm going to find out how to do it anytime of the day!

Like the person said above. I have never achieved lucidity by using reality checks when I did use them in reality. I would just click realize it. In fact I usually cant remember anything before I become lucid.

I usually notice things that are weird and realize I'm dreaming. After this, I always end up in some high place and want to jump. I try to do a RC, but one time it failed (so I didn't jump, the damn watch kept saying 8:10!! and it was really 6:11... it was a dream though... monsters don't usually shrink my gf and try to eat her... lol). The other time I couldn't get my damn arm to turn so I could look at the watch. I was going to jump, but decided against it. Then I woke up. Damn

I found that RC arent a very good method. Once I succeeded, but it was like winning a lottery. I became so exited, that I woke up.

I succeeded at wild tho - I dreamt of me falling asleep and performing wild which was veeery weird.

And my last LD - I became lucid cause surrounding inviroment and events were too weird.

Theyve worked for me in the past as well as noticing strange things, but Ive also had so many times Ive done an RC in a dream and then dismissed it! How dumb . Does being more aware really work? Its just I may be more aware of the elephants flyig overhead but I could still dismiss them as normal.
