So, I've been trying out Seeker's tutorial but I've found I make better progress if I don't wake up in the morning and try it - I get barely any results, but if I'm newly about to sleep I see the swirling pictures in my eyelids, and SOMETIMES hear voices.

Last night was best of all!! I am so close now!

I actually was dreaming whilst I was awake - seeing images and all that, except I forgot the proper word for it (Seeker told me, but the message has mysteriously disapeared from my inbox... hmmm....). Usually when this happens to me I enter the dream, but I had the intention of WILDing in my head so I realised I was dreaming.

But then one of two things would happen:

1. Since I was still half concious, the dream would disapear and I would see the insides of my eyelids and the swirling pattens again.

2. It would turn into a normal daydream, rather than a proper lucid dream. Eventually I'd give up because I was daydreaming rather than focusing on the pictures.

[The good thing is that this (the seeing of the images) didn't happen just once - it happened TONNES of times last night!]

So can someone help me? I need to learn to be aware I'm dreaming, but without turning it into a daydream or becoming aware of my outside surroundings, and learn to follow it until I'm properly asleep. If I realise I'm dreaming, it tends to hit like a canon ball, which triggers it, even if I feel completely no emotion. I don't know how to stop myself going, "OMG I'm dreaming!" with surprise and go "Oh, this is just a dream."

Hope that last paragraph isn't too confusing!
