Last night, being the night I discovered DV, I decided to try MILD. Although, it was to no avail. I didn't experience that "vibration" or see anything going on in my room. At least, anything that I don't usually see. A few lines scitter around here and there, but the same can be said for if I look at the back of my eyelids. Might I also note that since I decided to try MILD, I also did not get a good sleep. I slept from 12:00 A.M. to around 6:00 A.M., and after that, just couldn't sleep anymore.

Not to say I was expecting to have a lucid dream on my very first try, not at all. But I just couldn't really concentrate on performing MILD. I can DILD easily but the problem is, I can't DILD if I don't know I'm having a dream, which I almost never remember.

Anyone just have some tips for a beginner? Suggested methods and steps you take to get into them? I read this morning that for MILD you can try counting your breaths to take your mind off everything as your body falls asleep. I'd gladly try it, but it's 7:40 A.M. now.
