I don't have much experience behind my words but I'd say YES, it does get easier. What I'm absolutely sure about is that it gets easier to KEEP lucidity once you already have achieved that. |

Does it become easier to attain lucidity after you manage it for the first time? I feel like I'm getting closer and closer to being able to do it, and it seems like it's one of those things where if you can do it, it's easy. I want to consciously experience the feeling of dreaming once so I can know what it feels like and recognize it in the future. |

I believe that it's easier after the first time, simply because you know what it feels like, and what to expect, at least to some degree. |

Mynd you, mřřse bites Kan be pretty nasti...
it IS easier after the first time, like TygrHawk said, because you remember the sensations and such |
|
I would think so, but after my first one I had last Thursday I haven't even remembered a dream. |

"In my nightmare, I feel so alive
In my dreamscape, escapades
I make the grade, I save the day."
- Eve 6, Nightmare
"And through it all
How could you cry for me?
Cause I don't feel bad about it.
So shut your eyes,
Kiss me goodbye,
And sleep.
Just sleep.
The hardest part's
The awful things that I've seen."
-My Chemical Romance, Sleep
indubitably. |

“If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.” (or better yet: three...)
George Bernard Shaw
No theory, no ready-made system, no book that has ever been written will save the world. I cleave to no system. I am a true seeker. - Mikhail Bakunin
I started out experimenting with L.D.'s last year and toyed with the concept off and on. This year I decided that I was going to pick one induction technique and learn how to do it. After a few months of practice and trial and error, I had my first W.I.L.D. Since then I have managed to succesfully to W.I.L.D. every time I try it, but the dreams usually don't last very long. The longest was about 10 minutes. The point is that once I figured it out, it was much much easier to repeat the process. Now I just have to practice controling the L.D. and making it last longer. |

"I have come for gold..."
It does get easier -- if for no other reason than you know it's really possible to have one. That adds tremendous motivation. |
