      My closest try yet

Well, last night I did my "wake up after 6 hours and chug chocolate milk" routine again, and it almost worked!

I had one very vivid dream where I distinctly remember at one point stopping to think about what I was doing. I was telling a DC to do something, and then I thought to myself, "wait a minute.... why does she have to do that?" But then I just dismissed the thought like a moron and went on with the dream >< ah well.

Later in the morning I did a lot of waking up and falling asleep again (I live in a college dorm, the only time it's quiet is at like 6am - 8am ). Each time I woke up I would look at the clock and do a quick RC. I woke up around 10am, noon, and then the next time I woke up the clock said 2:34. I went back to bed, and then woke up a bit later and clock said 1:40.
Grrrrr false awakening, and I was just too sleepy to do a proper RC. Ah well.....

      Maybe tonight

Hang in there. Looks like you're getting very close. Maybe a Hersheys chocolat bar will put you over the top.

woot! just had my 1st one last night

I was flying through skyscrapers in downtown Boston when out of the blue I just went, "Hey! I'm dreaming!" lol. I flew around for a bit trying to relax and not get too excited, but I eventually crashed into the side of a building and everything faded to black and I woke up I wish I had become lucid in a less exciting environment so I could explore a bit, but oh well.

      yay

Excellent job! Flying is a great Dream Sign. And you probably know that the first LDs are usually short. They’ll get longer, don’t worry.

      Welcome to the club. :bravo:
