      I tried to WILD....

Hey, im really new to this, i started to read about this yesterday and it sounded really cool. I read about the experiences with WILD's and then realised i have experienced them be4 by accident i can remember hearing a voice in my ear, and it was really clear and it jus made me jump as it was so sudden so i opened my eyes...LOL
So last night i tried to WILD properly, i counted up to 370 adding - im dreaming afta each number, and i watched the geometric patterns and lights, then after about an hour i was beginin to go into the transition phase and i suddenly heard a fone ring ! i then went into full concieusness and realised it was only in my head...it took so long for that to actually happen and it was so sudden it woke me up, and it was onli a short ring it didnt keep going.
I also found it quite hard to concentrate and i didnt really see any images, i onli herd the fone type thing, no voices or anythin....
Please can sumwun give me some advice, preferably somewun with WILD experience
      THANKS

      Hello vivid dreamer,

What I find most distracting when attempting a WILD is that I can't concentrate very well. My mind is usually too alert to stay in this drowsy state. The slightest movement or noise will bring me back to complete awareness. I find that ignoring any noise from outside the dream to be useful.

For example, I can hear things that I know aren’t real, therefore I don't pay any attention to it and it fades away in time. This takes some practice, but it's worth it in the long run.

      Good luck.
