Obscessed but no success

Last night while falling asleep I was constantly thinking about a character I really want to meet. It took me awhile to fall asleep. I think about this character during the day as well, and since he isn't real, I should be able to recognize it as a dream sign. However, even with all my thinking about this, I still don't recall this character ever being in my dreams at all, and certainly not lucidly. I have read in this forum that when you think about something a lot, it tends to come out in your dreams. To me, it seems like this character is evading my dreams. Maybe I am not ready yet. But I feel it will have something to teach me when I can finally have those dreams. Update: I also felt pretty emotionally attached and was visualizing this character strongly. Although I have not seem many drawings of him, so it is hard to visualize what he should look like.

Thank you Seeker and Merlock for your support. Yesterday was the 2nd day I had thought quite a bit about my favorite character, Red XIII from Final Fantasy 7 and the Advent Children movie. I didn't take any B6 yesterday (but that should not have had an effect because it takes 1-2 weeks for those to really get into or out of your system). I went BTB around 6AM for my final LD attempt this morning (since I would wake up at 7AM). I had quite a few FA's. One time I knew I was dreaming because walking was strange, and a radio was playing music although my alarm does not use music. Even though I knew, I did a reality check with my finger through my palm, but that failed. I stayed lucid for a little but, but don't really remember much outside of standing up in my bedroom. What really struck me was when I went lucid in my bed. The room was dark. I called for Red XIII. He appeared, but not in front of me. He was behind my bed, and I could hear him breathing heavily and slow. Just from this, I could sense the power in him. I reached back with my left hand and could feel warm/hot breath on my hand for a few moments. He circled my bed a few times. The breathing was like heavy panting (like a horse) but was controlled. He didn't show himself to me, as if to say that he was there but maybe I wasn't ready to see him fully yet. As a reference, I have only seen pictures of him and have yet to see that Advent Children movie, which would give me a better view (since I don't know what he looks like all around; for instance if he is tattooed on both sides). But I felt very calm (albiet with great respect). I didn't think about standing up to get a full view, but even if I had, I wouldn't have because of the respect. I didn't see any of his headdress, but just about 2" of the fur on his back. I don't think I touched his fur though, so I only remember the feeling of the breath, which was very real. Lucidity I'd say was 7/10, though I didn't feel that I could control much of the situation. I felt it best to leave the control up to this DC, just because of the respect I felt in his presence. A very fitting experience to make my 100th post.

Hey Rainbow Werewolf, congratz on getting that lucid. Just as you, one of my favorite charecters from from the Advent Children movie is Nanaki (Red XIII's real name). Though I can't really say I have an absolute favorite because all the charecters are cool. If I had to choose one it would be Cloud . (O, and this reminds me just so you know the movie came out so if you don't have the movie and want a better picture get the movie. It was actually suprisingly inexpensive for something new.)

Yep, I got around to ordering it off Amazon. When I see it, I will see how cool Cloud is. I will be getting a tattoo of Nanaki in June. The artist is very good, as there is over a month waiting list, they had a story published about them, and I have seen his excellent work with portraits. When I get to see more, then my mind will be able to create a better view of him. I feel he can guide me through my LD's. Thank you for your comments.

Red XIII, Red XIII, Red XIII. My favorite character in any and all dimensions. He's wise, quiet, and strong. We have so much in common. And if that wasn't enough I'm obsessed with both the color red and the number XIII. I don't find it so strange that you couldn't see him after being obsessed with him. I find that whatever I'm focused on the most when I get to sleep never comes to fruition. Wierd. And the LD sounds interesting. I usually hit a similar block. Whenever I have a relatively low level LD I'm always trying to pull some of my other favorite characters out of a TV. I can feel them, and their presence, but I can't get them out. Wierd. Lert me know how this goes.
