Dude, don't try to WILD before you sleep. The chances of that working are slim
I usually wake up at 7am, to get ready for school. I set my alarm clock to 3am and that's when I try my WILD. You're going to be so tired at 3 in the morning, that getting relaxed will take a few seconds, and the vibrations stage will follow.. (if you don't fall asleep.) There isn't much to think about / fog up your mind when you're tired like that. So yea, I go to sleep at midnight, wake up at 3 to wild (usually takes under 3 minutes) and hope that I don't wake up from my lucid dream too fast, cause I find it hard to get lucid twice the same night.. but that's me !

There's really nothing to it, the thing you want to focus on, is NOT to fall asleep.. and keep concentrated/thinking about getting lucid. Sometimes I get lucky, even if I fall asleep, a few seconds into my dreaming, I remember I was trying to LD.. and it works
