Yeah, as Nikolaa said, you have to find a method and stick with it for awhile. You aren't going to get anything accomplished by freaking out when things don't work out within a couple of days. Be patient, and dont' worry. You'll get the hang of it eventually. I mean, it takes serious effort. You get out, what you put in.

After I started to try to LD, I had absolutely nothing. No dream recall or even an LD. It takes time - after about a week or two you start getting good dream recall...you should be patient! I've been trying for about 6 weeks, and all I've gotten is good dreams and one very close DILD. I'm still going at it!

I just love remembering my dreams. Keeping a dream journal has helped me to such a huge extent. Honestly I do believe that once you start to remember your dreams you begin to see life in little different light. I was very skeptical about the dream journal idea because I didn’t see how it would help me remember my dreams in the future, but it does. Ever since I started to keep a dream journal I can remember two dreams in one night that is very new for me, very! I still have plenty of nights with no dreams at all though. I accept that this is just a phase. Dreams are fun in my opinion lucid or not.

      thanks

when i woke up last night it was right after a dream. it took like 5 min. but i remembered most of the dream. i'll probably keep trying the whole alarm clock deal in the middle of the night cuz it worked. And i got Exploring the world of ld, and i hope that helps. im setting some goals and am gonna keep it organized. thanx for the input.

Cup of milk + a tab of 100mg B6 and you should attain a clearer more vivid dream, and be able to recall it easily in the morning/through out the day. This was my experience i had last night, first time taking B6.
