      Keeping lucidity?

Lately I'm having lucid moments in my dream... Well I think I have. I start thinking, oh this must be a dream, then something happens and I wake up.

BUT when I gain "lucidity" (still it's not a full blown lucidity experience, well I think so) I cannot really control myself, it's just like I'm dreaming that I'm dreaming... Can't really explain it...

I'm doing more and more RC's lately (turning the light switch on and off, looking at the hour) but I have NEVER done a RC in my dreams yet...

      So my questions are

      * Do you think I'm making progress?
      * How do I increase my "lucidity" experiences?
      * How do I keep calm?
      * How do I RC in my dream?

Sorry if these matters have been discussed before...

      Re: Keeping lucidity?

      hey.
      yes ofcourse your making progres.
you only need to relax when you find out your dreaming, do a RC's, and try not to get to exited..
      goodluck.

o yeah and one question, if you never had a long vivid lucid dream, than how did you meet your ''wtf dreamcharacters''? you know the ones you posted in that topic

Just in my dreams, wich are very vivid but imho not lucid... Perhaps I misunderstood the term lucid?

For me lucid means, knowing that you're dreaming and controlling the dreamscene... Is this wrong?

Those weird dreamcharacters I meet in my dreams, wich I write down daily...

I think my problem is that I want a lucid dream so badly I can hardly contain myself when I notice I'm dreaming... Wanting something isn't a good thing appareantly

Actually ,wanting is a good thing. The more I wanted to Lucid dream, I got closer and closer to them. The closest I've gotten was a semi-DILD. It feels just like a dream, but you know you're dreaming. I'm still working at it.

I would recommend doing more reality checks during the day, and at night try and calm down and be tired. I find that I'm more likely to have my subconsious obey me when I'm extremely tired. I get a spinning sensation when my brain starts kicking in to sleep mode. Anyhow, don't get too excited, or you won't be able to sleep! ^o^

      Keep up the good work!

Lucids so far: 4 (3 DILD, 1 FILD) Although most are just DALDs.
