FAILURe: False Awakening Induced Lucid Using REcall
This one gave me a lucid without me expecting it, and after thinking about it, it is quite simple, and subconscious friendly. It works well for people that wake up immediately after some dreams, or multiple times throughout the night, or those on a polyphasic schedule.
Here's what happened to me. I have been paying attention to dreams, to keep track for one of the research experiments. I was waking up several times that night, and after, I would immediately think about the dreams I had while they were still fresh in memory. Later that night, I had a false awakening, in a non-lucid. I thought "Crap, crap crap! I just woke up, I know I just had a dream, but I can't remember what happened". I saw that I was at my friends house in the living room, and said "Hey! wait a minute, I'm still dreaming "
Resulting technique
1. Immediately upon waking, do your best to recall as much about your dreams as possible.
2. After making a habit of that, have a false awakening during a non-lucid dream. (How, I don't know)
3. Your thought processes will come online as you begin thinking about the dream, and you will notice your surroundings. You will realize the dream is still going and have lucidity.
