Thread: Idea for a lucid dreaming method

Name: Rock Induced Lucid Dream (R.I.L.D)

WHat you need: a rock, MIght be shiny or flat and smooth or whatever you want just as long as its YOUR rock and call it your dream rock.

So you keep the rock on you at all times in your pocket or something and tell yourself to reality check and think about dreaming whenever you notice the rock in your pocket. Then hopefully after a while you will be doing this in your dreams. Another idea would be to sleep with the rock in your hand, I dont know how else the brain could disguise the feeling of having a rock in your hand, so in theory your rock should manifest in the dreams and the rock would be the dreamsign.

Im going to start testing this out tonight so ill let you know if it works...

hahah okay so wait, technicly you could use any object. So why the hell did you choose a rock?

I've actually done something similar before, using an amythest stone. You have to know that the object will make you have LD's while holding it, and there's the added benefit of having companionship on those cold lonely nights (a rock never deserts a friend)

I could do that with my cellphone or my iPod. Those are always in my pocket.

I would use a pebble. Who wants to carry a rock around
Just don't lose it.
