      talk about frustrating

ok so it seems that everytime i wake up i move or do soemthing immediatly upon waking. For instance last night i set my alarm for 3 differnt times like 3:30( a quiet tone that proly wouldnt wake me up) 3:50 a loud tone and 530 an even louder tone. well heres what haPPENED i woke up i tried to do a wild right formt thte start but knew myt chances were slim. so i had the idea in my mind. but i woke up before any alarm at around 2:35. i tried to rember my dream but theres no way in hell i could and it was like i was atomatically disracted to so i could lie still and focus. so i got up walked around a bit and tried to do i wild from there. i lied and lied and concentrated hard but i only got as far to start feeling some numbness in my leg i dont even no if that was supposed to happen. so all ngiht after 3 awakings i only rembered one dream and 3 trys at a wild and no luck any suggestion on how to wid or personal experiances so that i know if im feeling the same thing aight thanks -matt

be focused, have faith and dont give up. If you are gonna start and think that you're gonna fail anyway there's no point in starting... Be absolutely sure you can, and you will LD if you are persistant enough.

Hey I was just kidding. Keep dream diary, that will help you remember dreams greatly.

is it possible to absolutely fail

im just curious is there some sort of person that just absolutely cannot do this? I have been trying for a long time and i have had no lucid dreams whatsoever, and this post is probably going to curse me for ever. I have tried the different methods and reality testing to no avail. I cannot find dreamsigns in my journals either? any suggestions

How is your dream recall Jack? Do you keep a dream journal? I'd suggest that you keep an hourly RC check as part of your routine. You don't have to think about it. I believe anyone can do this, it just may take more time for some.

If you need more help start a seperate thread about your problems.
