I was dreaming, though I didn't know...

I was in my bed, with my friend Nicolas, and we were listening to some ipod music. The music was funny as hell, some of the nicest piece of music I heard. At one point, Nicolas fell asleep, so I continue listening to music alone, and I was wishing that is was a girl, not Nicolas, that was in my bed. Then I started seeing this girl named Annick, were Nicolas was sleeping, but since I though I was awake I told to myself that this wasn't the real Annick, but I could just try and have a lucid dream !!!

So I layed back in my dream bed, started relaxing, did the 61 point method. It was quite working, it always takes me lots and lots of tries to achieve a WILD. Then at one point, my heart started racing at an incredible beat, I felt that before, but suddenly I start feeling my whole body going at the speed of light, I was feeling the breeze, both cold and warm at the same time, and I was hearing noises from all around me. I start seeing in front of me a little boy, 6 years old or something, he had black hairs, and was staring at me while I was going through WILD. I keep focusing on not losing lucidity, then I started hearing the "next dream noises"... It happened to be my dad in the kitchen, in reality, who was making some coffee... I was in my bed, awake...

I basically did the backward trip of WILD, I went trhough the whole thing in my dream, up to waking states... Believe me or not, but since then I can have a WILD every 3 nights or so, compared to the 1 time out of ten I had before...

My question is, don't you think that trying to do a lucid dream, in a dream, while pretending you ain't dreaming, might actually help you in reality when you actually want to do LDs ? (I hope you understand)
