[Please Help] WILD... Dont know whats happening.

      hi there.

ive been reading alot about LD's.
i want to be able to induce them, they sound cool.
but i dont want a heap of new age spirit mumbo jumbo.

i have the ability to put myself to sleep almost instantly.
i just stop thinking, and im out. but if i don't do anything
i will most likely be asleep in 5-15 minutes.

i have tried many many times over the course of about half a year. WILD and MILD mostly.
MILD hasnt worked, so im trying WILD. i relax, breathe, sometimes when i start to doze i think to my self 'In. out.' 'in out.' i do this for a little while, next thing i know its morning, and im thinking to myself "ok lets try the WILD teqnique with breathing" as if i havnt broken my train of thought. then i realize 'oh its morning. it didnt work'.
i cant get into paralysys. (which actually sounds cool and fun)

ive read that your supposed to sleep 5-6 hours before a WILD...
sounds like WBTB to me... can you have WILDs directly from your first time sleeping of the day? REM cycles dont come for another couple hours though... but again i have the same train of thought carry over.

i dont know if this is an answerable quesetion, but does anyone know how when you are seeing HI it feels like your eyes are one way, but once you snap outta HI yours eyes are another way? which way should they be for a WILD?

      Thanks for any help.

I've also been having troubles here. I go to bed and try WILD, i count to 100 (counting the number when i breathe out, quite deep breaths) then i begin counting from zero again...I may have been slightly silly in ommiting most of the dream recall stuff, but i have a small idea that i'd like to try out first (but that is for another topic i think) but i don't seem to get to sleep paralysis either (much agreeing on the

glad to hear someone else has had similar issues kinda (although slightly sorry that you can't have the fun dreams)

I would be glad if anyone can offer any suggestions

The way they are when seeing the HI. [/b]
im not sure what you meant by this.
so do you need 5-6 hours of sleep before a WILD? if so, WILD is not what i want.
and yes, i have basically reverse isomnia... and i sleep without moving. ive been told i look like im dead when i sleep....

i have yet to reach paralysys.
whats all this about being afraid? it sounds pretty sweet.

anyway. anybody have any idea what i should do? do i need to concentrate more? less?
      be more awake?

      steps.
      1.relax.
      2.concentrate on breathing
3.say something in my head like "in. out. in. out." if i start to doze
4.wak upe in the morning, thinking "lets try this WILD tecnique" then realize its morning.
      any ideas?

P.S. anybody know what im talking about with the eye position and HI?

I've had the same problem with my eyes when trying to WILD, my best guess is to relax and ignore eye position... After all, it IS called REM for a reason.
Only a best guess though, I havn't had a successful WILD yet.
