      Does WILD technique affect sleep?

I was just wondering.... if you use the WILD tenchnique and you're successful, does it affect your sleep? For instance, you sleep for 8 hours with it, but you don't fall completely asleep for, i don't know, two hours (random time). Would you wake up the next morning feeling like you got 8 hours of sleep, or 6?

For me it always depends on if I make it into the WILD or not, if I lay there for 2 hrs and never get into the LD then its exactly like i slept for 6 hrs and laid in bed watching TV for 2 hrs before getting up.

but if I make it into the LD and wake from it by an alarm clock then I feel great the next day (WILD gets you into REM which is the state of sleep that recharges your mind)

so really if I WILD successfully and wake up straight from the LD I was having I usually feel really good all day (be it from the amazing experiences I had in the LD or from getting up from REM I have no idea)

note: If you do WILD too much (even if you sleep 8 hrs before starting it) it will give you pretty bad bags around your eyes (unless you only do it once or twice a week)

One night I enter a lucid from DILD but it must have lasted the whole REM period (close to 45 min). I was was such a long Lucid, when I woke up I felt like my mind was busy all night and didnt feel rested. Although I didnt care because the Lucid lasted for a long time and I had lots of fun. It was like I returned from Vacation.
