Success comes to those who are not afraid of failing.
Seems like the short periods of time between the waking state and dreams were what caused lucidity. You were waking up and then falling back asleep whilst entering dreams swiftly. Thus, in one of the dreams your mind made a swift comparison of your current (dream) state with the waking state you had not too long ago in the same night and you became lucid. |

I have also been falling asleep very quickly whenever I wake up in the night to try wild, but for me it hasn't helped to induce lucid dreams at all. In fact I've been doing basicallly the same thing as you, but it just hasn't worked for me. |
