Sorry, I can't say that has ever happened to me. Strange. |

Yeah, I had a DILD! But there's a problem. I felt my eyes were closed as soon as I became lucid. I opened them to see my bedroom. I closed them to see nothing. I did an RC, and I was still dreaming, so I opened my eyes to see my bedroom again. I did an RC in my bedroom hoping for a FA, but I was awake. What can I do about feeling my eyes are closed when I'm lucid? |
|
Well, you had a false awakening, closed your eyes, did a reality check and found you were lucid. You then opened your eyes, to find yourself in your bedroom, though this time it was for real. You then closed your real physic eyes, did a RC and failed. That's what I get from it. You were lucid, but only for a few seconds |

Lost count of how many lucid dreams I've had

thats what it sounds like to me too. Going off what others have said, and my first lucid dream, the second i thought of waking up, my body or even dont wake up, i woke up. When you feel like your going to wake up, i heard that spinning around, looking at your hands, or the ground will keep you lucid. |

Thanks, I guess that makes sense. When I first opened my eyes and saw my bedroom, I thought that I was somehow seeing the real thing and if I didn't close my eyes quick, I would wake up. I then closed my eyes to try to get back to the dream landscape, although I know now that that was the dream landscape. I think getting all worked up like that woke me up. Oh well, at least I know I can LD. Next time I'll look out for that. |

Ah, that's one of my biggest problems with my lucid dreams too. It happens to me all the time. When I become lucid, I feel as if I'm only half asleep, and as though I can see both the dream and real life but the dream is faded. So I feel I have to open my eyes and wake up, but I don't want to. When I do though, it's usually only a false awakening, but I rarely realise. |
