      trouble with WILD

Hi, I'm having some major difficulties with WILD:

My room is completely dark en there are no sounds, so that problem is fixed, but then, when I try to WILD, I can get very relaxed, flashing lights come quite fast and I can also feel the tingling sensations and that's where it ends... everytime I start tingling, I "wake" up... Or maybe I'm doing it wrong? I let my mind drift, just like when you're really dreaming and really 'seeing' everything you think about, or is that wrong? because if I'm not supposed to do that, then I never get any further than flashing lights... hard hard hard! I've tried many times though.
Then, second problem: if it takes too long evrything starts to ache, I just have to move, I can't stay in the same position very long, just like when I go to sleep normally: I move a lot.
      Anyone got any ideas?

Well yeah I know what you mean, cuz I have the same problems with WILD.
You said you just let your mind drift....But that's the point. You should try and stay focussed and concious while you fall asleep. This is very very difficult because the Hypnotic Imagery will Hypnotize you untill you fall unconcious. Very very hard to resist. Usualy I wake up stupified thinking '' hey what happened after those few flashes I saw?'' and I must have blacked the whole thing out again. I keep trying too. different techniques but I haven't found one solid one to try properly for some time yet.

It's like. I know what I have got to do, I just haven't figured out how exactly I am going to do it.

not to overestimate the Value of our Concrete Knowledge;"Common sense"/Rationality,
for doing so would make us Blind for the unimaginable, unparalleled Capacity of and Wisdom contained within our Felt Knowledge;Subconscious Intuition.

exactly! the weird thing is though, if I stay focussed, nothing happens... well I'll try again tonight and I'll just keep focussing.

aye aye capt'n same with be near enough.
However what I have done in the last few nights that has actually got me a lot further is to get comfy and stare blanky at the flashing lights behind my eyes, not looking at any one in particular just notice passively. Every time my mind wanders I pull my attention back to the lights. Then I fall asleep at some point, when doing this I ending up having one strange start of a lucid and one lucid dream (with not much control in the dream but good enough for a start)
When I have tried to WILD I get to the point in which my body is really numb and I get waves of energy flow over me, even felt like I was falling into a void once, but that is it. I haven't been able to get any futher. I just end up lying there for an hour and a half.
I think trying to hard and too much attention doesn't help.
