      It came, my first LD!

Last night, May 12 I had my first lucid dream ever! The dream started off normal but then it went into third person. I realized this was impossible and quickly realized that yes indeed I was dreaming. I felt a buzzing and shacking sensation in my body when I realized this. I saw myself down below and I wanted to do something to proof to myself this was a dream so I walked over to the guy next to me and tried to punch him. My arm wouldn’t move. I then simply thought about the action of punching and away I went hitting the man in the face. I got very excited and I believe I started to wake up but I demanded clarity. The clarity came and I walked to the center of the room still third person and wanted a sexual dream yet all that resulted was a naked me in the room, frustrated I demanded a snowy field, yet nothing changed. I realize now that I should have focused on my vision rather than the character before me. I was worried that the dream would be lost so i closed my eyes in the dream and I woke up to quickly right it down. When I update my dream journal ill put the full dream in there. All that work was worth it. It was not like i expected at all! A truly eye-opening experience worth all the effort!

Hey Congratulations! The first one is always an eye-opener!
It's a pretty amazing experience, and it looks like you even managed a bit of dream control, which is awesome!
Good luck with the future LD's, I'm sure now you've had one you'll start to have many more!
      Rock!!

Awesome! Sounds like you'll be making a lot of progress over these next few months. Keep it up.
