When people talk about their average, non-lucid non-vivid dreams, they usually either can't remember a background, consider it fuzzy, or mostly white.

A week or two ago, I had been sitting down for a while and stood up too fast- BAM. bloodrush. It was then that I thought to myself, "Hey, everything looks pretty dreamish right now".

Ever since, I've been doing Reality Checks whenever I have a bloodrush, and I can tell that it translates into my dreams. If you can recognize a dream by something so simple, so consistent as the dream background... well, I just think it owns.

If you often have fuzzy or white backgrounds in your non-lucid dreams, I suggest you try to adapt this. I'm wondering if it works for other people as well(a "Universal Dreamsign," hence the title).
