yeah i saw that same thing, and the logic thing in that technique is somehting you deffinetly need, but if you're like me, and like books and movies and things where you use suspended disbelief alot, then it is harder to attain lucidity. |

i have found a tibetan dream yoga techinque where when going to sleep you relive your past dream by describing a dream you have had then you get that dream and make it more real by imaging a clearer and more real environment and your five sense and body being more real and your awearness that your dreaming better. i have tried this technique for the past two days and it has increased realism to the standard of real life and has improved dream recall alot. however their is a problem because increased realism make really hard to spot i am dreaming but i think this can be counter acted by when going through the dream saying what is logically wrong with it so it most be a dream. a similar technique to this is to say when your dreaming increase vividness however it would seem better to tackle this problem outside the dream because theoretically it should be better to do dream recal outside dream so it appear inside dream so why not do the same for realism. |

as i was falling asleep last night, i said to myself, i will remember my dream, i will know i'm lucid, i will know i'm lucid, i will know i'm lucid. then i saw dinosaurs running at me and i said, "Holy Crap! i wish i was dreaming!"
i am currently using a improved techinque of this by imaging a game i play with me controlling the character as i would normally play this game apperently this let you go straight into dream you are meant to make something visual like game/movie by reliving scene of these and making it more vivid you after about 30/50 mins see a great flash of lighting or pop when you are at the door of the dream your thought turn abstract but if you keep imaging stuff like a car to take you into your dreams it will happen also if you imagine intensly this will give you a vivid lucid dream where you have control. currently i am imaging first eating food getting taste right then the feeling of rain then i imagine very hard that i am the character in grand theft auto game driving cars, speedboat and flying in heilcopter the key to making it vivid is to imagine it somewhere else i.e. block out body and then try and model the environment after reality finaly i imagine i am in a car getting drove into dream. this work exceptionally because the next thing i heard my mom talking to me in a car looking up i saw funny star and a ufo then i knew i was dreaming this lasted about an hour intill i had to jump through a wall because my mind played a trick on me. |

That's whats so bad about mixing and matching techniques. |

choice that why i am fixatied on lucidity in a pre program dream their no change everything is static lifeless realness is not lifeless what you call real could only be real to yourself and without consciousness in dream you might as well be dead for reaching for choice i dont see why you have to abadon reality. by looking for genius i like to be on the right path then consistant i.e. insanity is trying the same thing over and over and inspecting a different result Einstein. the one problem with this forum is lack of change it staticness well leo when have you tried to fundamentally change your technique capture the impossible push yourself to your limit to get a lucid dream that not fake, misty and last for twenty five minutes put it this way it going to an artist and asking why do waste your time drawing someone realistically when you can take a photo why settle for a photo when you can have something like a picture from leonardo da vinci even though he copy heavily from the environment. |
