      Smile

Now I'm mad because I've only had 1 LD and I could have easily had my second. My recall is fuzzy, but I remember there was some sort of monster that triggered lucidity. Then I tried to change places, and it didn't work. I "woke up" and I was lying on the couch, which I never do, and then I tell my mom I'm trying to go back to sleep to have a LD, and I've never told her about this. Then I did a RC by sticking my finger in my palm. My palm was solid, like when I'm awake. Then I woke up for real. Then I felt frustrated because if my RC had only worked...

RC's don't always work for one thing, so don't get frustrated over this. Also, the finger through the palm is said to be a bad RC. You might want to try using different RC's, one that I find effective is pinching your nose and trying to breath. There is a list of possible RCs in the link below.

P.S. Just incase the link doesn't work, it's just the RC tut from the main site.

Yep, breathing through a closed nose and checking my watch twice are my two most reliable rcs, but the only person who can find out which will work for you is you, try different ones until you get good results.

Yea man the nose thing always works.

I have also had the strange false awakenings where someone talks to me about LDing. Shouldnt that be a trigger

Nope, I've had that problem as well, but it wasn't much of a trigger for me because I actually do have conversations about LDing with him, and he was staying over that night.
