I've found that either a very specific routine or rare situation is the best way to help induce a Lucid.
My story: Last year, shortly after first reading about LDing I woke up on a weekend, went down to the common room (First year in the Hall of Residence at University) and started watching some Cricket, I watched for about an hour then, having nothing better to do at the time, decided I'd try and LD. This simple WBTB induced my most amazing dream that I have ever had (can find it by searching 'My Epic Lucid' ).
Earlier this year, during the Football world cup, I woke up early (like 6am, which is very early for me) to watch a game. The game was played (damn, i was hoping for Portugal to win xD ), and I, once again, decided to try and LD, this was the very first time I WILDed successfully, and an amazing experience it was.
How this may help: Think back to your most amazing LD, remember exactly the order of things you did that lead up to it, every unique detail that may come in handy is important. When you next want to LD, try and follow this plan exatly. The theory is, that while completing your specific situation, your mind is subconsciously, and probably consciously as well, preparing yourself to LD. So what to do:
Overview past successful LD's
Find any common factor, or just not factor's that contributed for your most amazing LDs
Follow out this situations as exactly as you can
Know that, once again, you will LD!
Remember, it's all in your head, know that you are able to LD and do whatever you like
