      Thumbs down

I am at my computer alot these days and i thought of a way to just help with the reality checking side of LD'ing!

I made this background for my wallpaper of my desktop so when i look at my computer screen i am constantly reminded to RC, I have added a link to the Wallpaper below incase you wish to download it although it can be easily made using any graphics program!

Haha , I like it. Nice questions.
Though I kindof doubt it would help me. First off my dreams are almost never normal-ish. They are always in place x with x people etc. I think doing RC in front of my Pc wouldn't work much. But I do do RC's most of the time. I think I do them 3-6 times an hour. The urge to Rc just pops up, so I do it . No luck with genuine LDs yet (or maby I have alot of them, but don't remember), But!! I feel lucky tonight .

hehe, that might work. : )

Maybe at least subconciously. However I doubt you will actually see that desktop in your dream... (electronics ). But hey, the idea is nice... what if you would paint: You Are Dreaming! on every wall of your room. Every now and then you are bound to be in your own room, so that might work aswell

I carry a peice of paper in my pocket, with "are you dreaming", so i can Rc anywhere. You can't read in dreams, can you? Does the text change I mean.

The problem with this is that if you rely on the wallpaper to do reality checks, and you only do reality checks when you look at the wallpaper, then it's not going to help you. First of all, you would have to have a dream that you are on the computer. Second, you would have to keep this same desktop as normal, which in my case is never true. Third, your dream computer has to be fully functional. Mechanical devices usually do not work in dreams, including my own experiences.

U reminded me of something! hell yes you can read in dreams (atleast i can) and the funniest thing is the text DOESN'T CHANGE BY ME!! (no bullshit god dammit), it was very long ago, but i could easily remember that it was readable without a problem, it's all about how vivid your dream is!

I see what you mean i am just proposing this tip as a way to remind you to RC when at a computer or around it i dont use it as a RC just a reminder because i have a busy life and find it hard to remember to RC a couple of times a day. Hope it helps a few ppl like myself who lead busy and hectic lifes!!

      Thx

It will work fine if you still RC spontaneously from remembering, not just from looking at the wallpaper. But if you only RC when you look at the wall paper than it'll be rare having a DILD caused by an RC.
