alright. ive been trying wild for about a week now...maybe 5 times. i just got some silicone earplugs in so i used them last night and i loved them. the dead silence really helped me get into the zone as to opposed to my heartrate rising in rage everytime a car went by. anyway, i usually do the counting breaths method, but someone in a thread told me not to do it for some reason and i wasnt really feeling it anyway so i just kinda let my mind wander around to different werid thoughts but kept them from hynotizing me into sleep. anyway, my body was feeling quite numb and then out of nowhere i here this LOUD sound that sounded like a combination of a low E on a bass guitar and a deep human voice. it only lasted a second and it did startle me, but not too much. anyway, 10 seconds later my heart-rate starting racing and i found my breathing quickened a lot and the blackness behind my eyelids starting lighting up and i saw swirls...naturally i kinda got excited and confused and it wore off. i contiuned with the WILD and heard the sound again a while later, but it was much less loud this time. then, i felt a couple waves come over my body that felt like all my nerve endings being stimulated briefly...kinda like a wave of shivers but i know i defintley wasn't cold. here's my question:
A.) What was the deal with that noise? I'm 80% sure it couldn't have come from any external source because those earplugs are strong and i can't think of anything that would produce that noise (except a ghost playing one of my guitars).
B.) What was the deal with those waves of tingling?
C.) What was the deal with my heart-rate racing shortly after i heard the noise? there's a chance it would have been excitment or me being startled...but i dont think so because there was a delay between the noise and the heart-racing and it felt like it was totally out of my control.
im hoping this was WILD-related phenomena. if so, it will motivate me to keep trying.
