A few mornings ago I woke up at about 8:00, looked at my clock and figured I could sit in bed for a little bit longer. I fell back to sleep at some point in time and dreamt that I was still lying in bed just looking at the clock. Why I'm such and idiot: The time on the clock kept changing, three numbers that stand out in my memory are 7:02, 9:05, 11:21. Being the idoit that I am, I figured I'd wait until it got low (like 6-7:00ish) before I got out of bed. (I like to get up early.) After this brief dream I entered another one and then woke up for real.

So, any ideas on how to improve my reality checks? I'm sure I notice plenty of odd things in my dreams, but they don't really register as odd (as shown by the clock, checking my clock is probably the RC that I do most frequently). Any ideas on how to get around that and take notice of the crazy things in my dreams so I become Lucid?

      Thanks.

P.S. If anybody cares, my first and only Lucid was brought about by me climbing up a tree that was way too skinny to support my weight. I realized that it was impossible for me to be climbing the tree and I became lucid.

well, the closest I got to a lucid dream was realizing a bunch of messed up things goin on in order, I dunno about those RC'S since if they become habit they wont help you at all, just check for really weird things, im sure nothing as weird as in your dreams happens in real life , I guess it takes practice, and patience.

Stick a label entitled: "R-C" above your clock?

Thanks for the sticky note idea. I'll try that tonight.
