Nah, they're really not like that! Of all the people I know, I think I'm the only one who actually goes onto fora and stuff. However, I could motivate my sister, she's like me, so that could work! I'll try that, thanks.

Don't mean to sound cheesy or something, but you're a really great guy :bigteeth: . Thanks for writing the long tutorial and taking time to motivate dumb-dumb-s such as myself...my confidence just got another boost!
Luci, you're not the only one, believe me...I only told my two best friends, the first said that she thinks writing dreams down and looking at your hand every once in a while to see if another finger popped out of nowhere (my RC :content: ) are very stupid modes of wasting your time. The other one got very freaked out and told me she's not into paranormal stuff and thinks it's dangerous. My explanations were useless... :shakehead2: .
LOL
:D Funny topic...

Anyway, I got another way of motivation. Somebody write a short story, (a creative writing/cumulative writing one) that describes the feeling of lucidity well - in second person. Makes us want one, and feel like we're already experiencing it. Anyone up for that? :mail: :jester:
I know... it's weird how people think this is some kind of paranormal thing. And how could that be a waste of time??! I always do RC's when I'm bored in class and don't pay attention anyway (not because I'm a bad student, but because our cell biology professor sucks!), that way it's actually time well spend
Thanks, I will :) Tonight I will do my VERY best, better than I have ever done before, just to prove that girls can lucid dream
no seriously, thanks, this has already helped with my motivation!
I'll write one, but I'm not sure how long it will take. I'll try to do it after school, because tonight I have to go to Toronto so I won't have much time.
My god it didn't help the guys but it helps the girls
^^OH YEAH PROVE IT.
Here is the story thing:
You become lucid from a nose reality check. You look around you. It looks like a normal city, what's the big deal. Well, this city is created by your brain. In fact, it's not really a city, it's your personal playground. You are in control of this "city" and the infinite around it. Everything you want will be granted, any desires will be filled.
You walk across the street. Hmm a car? It's yours. You drive around INSANELY FAST, swerving in and out of the beautful city. Wait... a city. Who wants to be in a city? BAM! You're in the country side. Beautiful trees and lakes surrond you. You jump out of the speeding car and admire the country side. (Boys, read on. Girls, stop reading)
You feel bored, so you decide to fight in a WAR. If you die, you don't really die, instead you get the ultimate punishment of waking up. With your adrenaline rush, you shoot insanely at the enemies, with your own men backing you up. The rush of cold wind in your face, you win the fight. You wake up with energy for the rest of the day.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH HH!!!!!!!!! 3;!!!!!!!!! 3;!!!!!!!!! 3;!!!!!!!!! 3;!!!!!!!!! 3;!!!!!
:sniper:
i dun get how tis method works... can u explain better?
We believe that if you are more motivated for a lucid dream, you will have one. So in this topic, we are all basically motivating each other, by taunting them and describing the awsometasticness of lucidity...
I doubt you could have an awsometastic lucid dream, skuruza..
Hmm...this seems like a good tutorial, have you shown it to Seeker?
...No why would he care?
$%#%#@
Exactly... Last night I thought I'd go to bed early so I wouldn't fall asleep like a rock. Well, guess what, I went to bed and fell asleep in like 5 minutes... That never happens to me, only when I want to try ld. I also woke up twice and I thought, Ow good, another chance, but nooooo I HAD to fall asleep again.
&%$%$@
I'm going to bed right now (22:15) cause I'm kind of tired but at least I won't drop out of this world in 5 seconds.
we'll founf out tomorrow!
AND KEEP TRYING!!!! Wanna bet we can all do it?!
Hmm. I've had like 15 LDs all DILD since joining, and almost all of them were attained when I was doing stuff similar to this. Right now I've been taking a break from trying to LD, as I am having a total dry spell, so I want to build a sleep schedule, and then recall first, but I intend on continuing trying soon, so I'll probably try a variation of what you're saying.
Nice tutorial Megabenman. I'll give what you say a try for a few weeks.
Because it only happens when I try to LD. If I just go to sleep it takes me half an hour (it used to take me an hour) So normally, I'd be happy to just fall away, but not when I try to WILD or something :( ! In other words, when I want to get a night of sleep, I just try to wild! (Also useful to know)
Comprende?
So last night I went to bed at 22:20 and guess what; I blacked out... I wasn't even tired!
What's the different if you fall asleep so early. You're not going to WILD until the morning.
For the third time; it doesn't matter when it happens, but just that it happens. Also in the middle of the night or in the morning. Savvy? And it's not that it makes me angry, just a little frustrated that I have to fall asleep when I try to WILD (or actually: attempt to try to WILD, I don't even get to try).
Ok, that's all about this topic don't you agree? Let's get back to motivating eachother :)
I still don't understand what you'er talking about. The amount of time it takes to fall asleep doesn't reflect on your WILD attempt in the morning...
You useless piece of shit why would I waste my time helping you. Everyone knows you're too dry to lucid dream you stupid girl. GIRLS SUCK.
