When I was just a little kid and I had bad dreams I used to always stop and close my eyes and shake my head left to right and concentrate hard on waking up, and My transistion from the dream to a waking status would become Instantaneous. Now I just think of waking up and it automatically happens.

I think you can kill yourself (In the dream ofcourse ) to wake up. Personally I wouldn't do it though, why miss out on a great dream? Just have fun I say.

that odds are that killing yourself wont work, because for me i dont die in dreams, i just carry on, and if i get injured it doesnt make a difference most of the time... the best way to wake up is just to concentrate on waking up, because you are already in between waking and dreaming, and remember you are always incontrol of your dreams...

of coarse u need to be lucid to wake yourself up like that right?
