      Becoming lucid and

I experienced this morning after waking up becoming lucid without seeing my dream sign, and without doing reality checks. Has anyone elese done this? And is it possible to become lucid that way all the time?

It happens to me sometimes, but i don't think this is very uncommon.
you see, there is nobody who has a static amount of dreamsigns, dreamsigns are just indicators that make you realize that you are dreaming, so they can be different everytime. an annomality concerning your environment, people that act in a strange way, disfunctioning devices and many more, it could be anything, even the simple question you might ask yourself while awake or dreaming, called the MILD-methode. and sometimes that question pops up without an indicator.
i never have had the same dreamsign twice.

the last time i became lucid i was standing outside ma grandma's house and asked myself if i was maybe dreaming, just because i felt like asking that question and i was surprised when i advanced that i was in fact dreaming.

Yes, it can happen and it does for some people. I wouldn't say that it's that rare- some naturals do this all the time, some oneironauts just get that 'feeling' of what dreams are like and learn to realize it means they're dreaming. It sometimes happens with me, and sometimes I have to do reality checks. Certainly not as often as I'd like, maybe about 20% of the time. I usually confirm with a reality check, but I just realize that I am dreaming.
