after 3 years, 3 frustrating years, finally, an actual lucid longer than 1 second. i had gotten up at 4am to write my English paper, then went back to sleep around 5:50. and sometime between then and 6:30, i lucided. I dreamed i was watching Snakes on a Plane in a movie theater, and i was the only one in there. Then it just dawned on me slowly that i was dreaming, and just the feeling of knowing that i finally did it, omg, it was AWESOME! i didn't really do much, just felt the seats around me, and watched the movie. i tried to stand up once, but i felt it sort of affect my real body, so i just sat there, basking in the hella awesome feeling. God, today was awesome! yes, woot! ok, im done. :yumdumdoodledum: :bravo:

The evening hangs beneath the moon, a silver thread on darkened dune.
With closing eyes and resting head; I know that sleep is coming soon.

Upon my pillow, safe in bed,
A thousand pictures fill my head,

      I cannot sleep , my mids aflight;
and yet my limbs seems made of lead.

Terrific work Tavasion , I know what you mean the profound felling of wow this is a dream, and just the being there is so astonishing, the felling you get. Keep at it it should only get easier now. Good work.

Its good that you finally got a lucid after 3 whole years... have you kept trying for those years or have you tried on and off?

word up congrats man! ive been trying for a few months now with no luck, but im happy youve done it!

      couple questions-

      how did those seats feel?

did the movie seem like the real movie?

how did you feel the very moment you became lucid?

      am i dreaming?

Did the movie truly happen exactly as it did when you saw it in the movies in real life? Cause thats very interesting that our subconcious can remember fricking everything and relay the information if it wants...

      thanks, everyone.

      Here y0u go BPolar

the seats were real-feeling, i couldnt tell a difference, they were the rocking kind, too.

the movie did seam real, and its funny, because i never saw that movie!

i cant even describe the feeling of the holy moment of becoming lucid. its like...the best feeling in the world, like the ultimate self-actualization. Still, my ultimate goal is to fly. That feeling, to me, will surpass even this feeling.
