    Thread: Need Help On Hi

      Hi everyone,
      i've been reading this forum for over a month now as a guest and decided to join since i have some questions.

      first of all, to hypnagogic imagery... i have trouble seeing it sometimes. i did the following.

      1. go to sleep at 11:30
      2. wake up at 5:00
      3. stay awake for 10 minutes
      4. go back to sleep trying to become lucid.

      i saw a bunch of weird things happening and saw a scene of my friend showing me a techno song, and i could actually HEAR the song. then i had a scene where i got up and entered the bathroom, and realized i was lucid. but then i woke up instantly.

      my question is: how and when can i see hypnagogic imagery? what time of the night do i need to try? and how do i convert this into a dream? i know about WILD but have never succeeded. please, someone help me.

      Sounds like you had a seccusfull WILD. I've never had a WILd experience before, but from what you have said it seems to be a WILD from what I have read. I think you are ment to see hypnagogic imagery after you go back to bed from being up for a little while. Im not sure about this but also from I have read you are supposed to walk into the dream.

      the thing is, i have never been able to do it before this. and also i rarely see HI so i was wondering how to have more of it. so far i have had 5 lucid dreams after physically attempting to. they were all MILD but i seem to be going through a dry spell of those. autosuggestion is worthless on me
