Hello everyone,

My sister has had some trouble becoming lucid. Even in a couple dreams when she said I told her "You need to prove to yourself its a dream."

She, I think, has a problem because she is so convinced it is not a dream when she prefoms reality checks during the day, that even if she was in a dream she may not believe it.

Here is what i think:
When you preform reality checks, do not do them to prove you are awake or see if you are dreaming. Try and prove to yourself that it is a dream, even if you think its not.

Such as "This must be a dream, so I will push my finger through my hand... No? Well I must have an odd amount of fingers...? Nope I see ten. Maybe I can breath through my fingers though! Nope, guess not. This must be real."

Act as if you are using the reality checks in a dream as dream powers. Once all the reality checks you do fails you know you are awake. Keeping in mind that "this must be a dream" could help you when you are actually in a dream leading you to being lucid.

Its a simple twist to a simple technique.

Let me know what you think.

Grr, I think what I posted before was much easier to understand. However, it was lost with the other 36 hours of data. And I do not remember what it said
