      Would getting into a deeply meditated state and doing MILD from there increase your chances of having a DILD. It makes sense to me because you are more in tune with your subconcious and that might make MILD more effective for realizing you are in a dream. If anybody has tried this or something similar to it please reply.

      You could do that.. I did that before and it indeed increased the chance of getting lucid.

      Other thing has came to my mind, you also could practice self-hypnosis in your meditation for that intention. When I did that, I somehow have overridden my mind and was able to WILD anytime even at the first sleep and able to be conscious the entire night.. it can be a powerful technique because by then, I would be able to use a hidden observer to "wake"me up in WILD process... like a dual consciousness. Very powerful.

      Unfortunately, I somehow lost that skill, but I hope I can rescue that once again soon.

      Here is a nice tutorial for self-hypnosis. I got some files from remotehypnosis.com before he put prices on them. They're helpful with HI and potential WILDs, especially in the afternoon. I also find that if I clear my mind before going to sleep, then I usually have a higher chance of an LD. But I'm usually too lazy to clear my mind every night or WBTB.
