I woke up a little earlier than I usually do today at about 5:00AM. I took a piss and got back in bed and considered that this would be a good chance to attempt to go Lucid. I guess i'm getting rusty at the old Lucid tricks because all I could remember was to think about what I wanted to dream about and I kept saying to myself: "I'll remember I'm dreaming, I'll remember I'm dreaming."

      Did I forget anything?
Crazy, but that's how it goes!

Hi, U could before U fall asleep try to think of some event or a place U been in the past as in no longer valid that evoked some intense emotion like joy or fear or sadness. Most likely if it's intense enough U will dream it and realise Ur dreaming because U might feel funny and ask hey isn't this over like ?years ago? Hope this helps.

You could try to do some maths for a few minutes (in your head, or on a piece of paper, whatever you prefer). This works really well for me.
      Sure, why not?

Since lucid dreaming, recall, etc. methods differ person to person, you just have to experiment and see what works for you. And remember your life isn't stagnant, so what used to work for you may no longer do so.

There really isn't such a thing as a wasted lucid attempt. Even if an attempt "fails" in that you don't become lucid by its end, you still gain the knowledge of what *doesn't* work for you. All of it brings you closer to realizing your goal

Someday we'll find it - the rainbow connection - the lovers, the dreamers, and me
