A major question about WILDS...

hey all. i would just like to ask some things about WILDS: 1. what do u do after ur body falls asleep? MORE TO COME AFTER I GET THIS ANSWERED...

After the body falls asleep....Is a process that takes from seconds to minutes. Usually you experience vibrations and a sense of falling. What I do is wait for things to settle out. When the vibrations have stopped, and the falling sensation stops, I just look around and say Wow, it worked!!! and I am in the dream. From this point on, it is like any other LD.

I experience unpleasant body feeligs and start to see HI form something around me. Even with my eyes closed. And I wait patiently for some force to move me. When I find myself standing, it's safe to assume you may move.

so what i'm supposed to do is just lay there and wait for my body to completely fall asleep. then just wait with my eyes closed some more and i'll be in a dream?

The trick it to remain concious as your body falls asleep. When you begin to see imagery and feel the vibrations, it is time to start counting to yourself: "1, I'm dreaming", "2-I'm dreaming"... Or concentrate lightly on the sensations. The biggest mistake I made when learning was to begin immediately with the counting as soon as I layed down. This kept me from ever becoming relaxed enough.

basically you use alot of focus and willpower to force yourself to continue with the logical, non-subconcious thinking, as your body falls asleep around your mind...if you can focus so intently (not on one thing!) as to keep your logical, concious, mind running, as your subconcious begins to dream, you will find yourself awake while dreaming so to speak...

I tried to WILD a few days ago and after a while the world started spinning around me. At what point in the process did this probably happen? I got an itch after this and scratched, I opened my eyes and I was still awake. Was I ever 'asleep' during the experience do you think, o masterful ones?

You were probably close but may have been seeing imagery and then woke up.

I was seeing black & white imagery only and thinking some pretty weird things, but I still felt despite the swirling world that I was in my bed, at least, a faint feeling of this anyway.

I say you should focus a little more, although some may say you should do the opposite. Find out what works best for yourself! Good luck, your so close!

I've made that mistake at least 3 times. I assumed I'm already dreaming, so I opened my real eyes or moved. Looks like you can do it only if you will find yourself outside your bed.

This is really interesting because normally I start counting immediately, and I never succeed. I have succeeded when I tried other methods - seeing imagery for instance.

hey guys, what's the difference of "real eyes" and "dream eyes" and does it feel the same to open your dream eyes and real eyes? just need a little info on that topic thanks

When im doing a wild it feels like my eyes are half open, yet when im having a true LD my eyes are the same...another note. I find that when im dreaming i loose all of my small sences in my body like being able to feel wind on hair and other things similar to that. Thats actually my dreamsign
