I think every technique I've read about says you have to wake up after 5-6 hours of sleeping. Is there anyone here who has had lucid dreams just when going to sleep at night like normal? Or is the after 5-6 hours of sleep and waking up an absolute must? I know personally I've only LDed either after getting up after 5-6 hours of sleep or when taking an afternoon nap. Anyone here good enough to pull one off during regular sleep and if so with which method?

I've been interested in lucid dreaming for a long time, but only occasionally do I try any lucid dream induction methods. I've had a lot of lucid dreams without using any techniques at all (although, I've never been able to control them for long).

I've never tried the "Wake Back to Bed" technique because the other people in my house would get annoyed at my alarm clock (but mostly, it's due to my laziness again).

So yes, it is absolutely possible to lucid dream without doing anything. Although really, I think the methods do help at little bit.

a very small amount of people can do this. its almost impossible since you dont enter REM sleep right when you go to sleep. you enter a light sleep and then a delta sleep, neither of which you remember your dreams. wbtb is best.

Use the body clock they're sooo accurate! And Silent! Well you could visualize and meditate while you're going to sleep, think about Lucid Dreaming, chant yourself to sleep, maybe take melatonin? waking up at rem period works best though
