      Random Body Movements?

I'm still trying to LD, much more positive now.

Anyway, sometimes, when I'm going to sleep (for the first time, not a WBTB), I'll just be lying there. I naturally start seeing images and things, but I'm not aware of them, consciously.

Sometimes I'll jump, or my leg will move, and it will stir me fully awake again. It's only when I think about it that I realise that something was happening in these images (ie: I slip off a step, and my knee will jerk out in reality).

All this happens whilst I am still awake!!

      Is this normal?

That happens to me aswell. I once got a very vivid image, off a giant bolder rolling directly against me, and my entire body sorta jumped in my bed.

It's perfectly normal, and even though it can seem annoying, it's a sign of good process. If it happens often to you, that means you get very vivid HI, which increases your chances of performing WILD greatly.

Train a bit more, and eventually, you'll become used to these 'scary' images, and your body won't spasm.

It happens to me too. About two weeks ago I gave my girlfriend a really bad bruise on her shin. I semi-dreamed that I fell and my leg shot out to brace myself. It usually happens when I'm just going to sleep or just about to get up.

I assume that the body is going to or coming back from sleep paralysis and needs to adjust itself so that you are more comfortable.

Yeah, before I found the site I would sometimes lightly doze off in the car (I wasn't driving) and the first thing is I fall and jerk awake. I'm always amazed by how realistic it feels, falling forward and having gravity switch to my back in an instant when I wakke up.
