Thread: How Can I Be So Stupid!

in my dreams three nights (6 dreams) in a row i have done i reality check and i've been able to breathe when pinching my nose etc.. but when i do it i think i am in a lucid dream but i am not lucid it is just a normal dream where im dreaming about becomeing lucid and so the rc works but i dont notice it

why do i do this anyone got any advice on how to recocnise them better

I had this problem once. I thought when I have my first lucid I will try to fly. So once I did an RC, I didn't have any control, didn't really realize it was a dream, but still tried to fly. So if I thought of what i was going to do when an RC worked, I would still do that in my dream, even though I wasn't really lucid. So I decided I would sit down on the ground and remember my real life next time I did an RC and really recognise the dreamstate. Next time I did an RC I sat down and remembered my real life which really helped me realize and gain control of the dream. Try doing this it worked for me, slowly my lucids have become alot more lucid and I hav gained more control, I'm still not fully there yet.

I find in LD I can't ever do anything to myself - I can't touch my nose, I can't rub my arms, none of that.
Try jumping.
